PSI Enhances the Significance of Textiles

The event taking place from January 9th to 11th strengthens the position of leading European trade fairs for promotional products in the textile industry. More top PSI exhibitors from the textile industry, additional lectures on merchandise and industry textiles, and special formats like Textile Village.

The significance of textiles as an application area in the promotional products industry is reflected in the results of the PSI 2023 survey. According to the survey conducted at the end of the previous trade fair, 60 percent of respondents expressed particular interest in promotional items from the textile industry. The expansion of the PSI 2024 offering in this segment is a response to this demand.

More companies, more knowledge The list of exhibitors already includes leading brands from the textile industry, such as Daiber, FOL International, Herka, Iqoniq (XD), J.S. Fashion, L-SHOP-TEAM, neutral.com, Pure Waste, and Skarpeta. The PSI forum also promises to be interesting with confirmed lectures by industry experts such as Martin Schittko (Merchandising Manager at Eintracht Frankfurt), Karsten Bleymehl (CEO of Circular Materials GmbH and Head of Sales in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at Pure Waste), and Anouschka Jansen (Director of Sustainability Solutions at QIMA).

"Our textile offering aims to focus the industry, create a network beyond the company's structure, and encourage the exchange of experiences," says Petra Lassahn, PSI Director. "We are pleased that, together with our exhibitors, we have been able to realize the concept of Textile Villages 2024 and that we can provide our visitors with valuable inspiration in the field of textile promotional items, corporate fashion, and workwear in these demanding times."

Textile Village – sold-out space In addition to FOL International with brands such as Fruit of the Loom, Russell Europe, and JERZEES, PSI Textile Village will also feature Cotton Classics, F.B. Aksesuar Çanta Tekstil, Malfini, Promodoro Fashion, Regatta Professional, Tee Jays, as well as L-SHOP-TEAM with its four own brands miners mate, bags2go, Fair Towel, and printwear. Therefore, the exhibition space in hall 10 is currently completely sold out. Visitors will be presented with proven, classic textiles from a sustainable assortment, as well as new products, including bags, backpacks, and terry cloth.

Sustainable development at a good price: Is it possible? The quality-to-price ratio of ecological products is currently probably the biggest challenge facing the textile industry. "Sustainable development is extremely important," says Christian Lanvermann, Senior Marketing Manager at FOL International GmbH, "however, not everyone is willing to pay a higher price for such products." Lanvermann and his team plan to use their presence at PSI to promote their brands and their offered ecological products, as well as to learn about the wishes and needs of customers.

The Regatta Professional team also expects a lot from the experience exchange with demanding PSI target groups. Sarah Clark, Distribution Manager UK and Export, says, "At Regatta Professional, we are excited about the opportunity to exhibit again at the 2024 PSI Textile Village and connect with both our old and new customers. Textile Village allows us to better connect with industry specialists as well as new customers in the textile area."
