Meet the POS STARS 2024 Jury

During the International Advertising and Printing Fair, the Marketing Festival, the industry competition for the best POS advertising displays, POS STARS, will be held for the 16th time. Here is this year's JURY, which will select the winners in each category and choose the GRAND PRIX for this edition.

Karolina Karolczak, Global Promotion Director, AsstrA
Karolina is an expert with over 25 years of experience in communication, marketing, and developing and implementing strategies in international markets. She holds an MBA from Paris, is an academic lecturer, a professional speaker, a motivational trainer, and a certified MLC Coach with a training accreditation from Brian Tracy International. She is the creator of the training program #celomania, which helps her clients achieve their goals, and the author of numerous industry publications as well as publications on goal-setting.
She is currently responsible for the Promotion Department at the AsstrA capital group. Her team is in charge of global brand communication, marketing and PR activities in each market, e-commerce, and ESG projects. She oversees strategy implementation in Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia, and North America. Previously, she was responsible for the marketing and communication division at the ENEL-MED Group. Additionally, as Partnership & Procurement Director at Sodexo BRS, now Pluxee, she was responsible for creating a cooperation model based on Consumer Value Added Proposition with the largest networks on the market. She was in charge of introducing and developing the brand strategy for Dr Witt, the re-launch of Frugo and Black, and the Levi’s – 501 campaign. In 2021, she was recognized in the Forbes Women – LinkedIn Masters ranking (currently has 26,885 followers on LinkedIn). Since 2018, she has been a lecturer at the Social Academy of Sciences (marketing, PR, management strategies, digital) and at the WSB University in Warsaw (future competencies).

Marzena Gutknecht, Marketing Manager at Sico Print Solutions
With over 20 years of experience in the printing industry, Marzena has expertise in customer service, purchasing, marketing, and communication management in both Polish and international capital groups. Her long-standing presence in the digital printing industry is accompanied by extensive knowledge of the industry, market, and trends.
She is responsible for marketing and communication at Sico Print Solutions, a provider and integrator of printing solutions for advertising and industry. Sico PS collaborates with both large global brands and those just entering the market. The company is a provider of technology, knowledge, and a promoter of innovation in large-format digital printing. With a seasoned, cohesive team of diverse expert competencies, Sico PS offers not only optimally selected devices and media but also top-quality service, consulting, and training.

Patrycja Sienkiewicz-Nowak, Director of Trade and International Cooperation at E.Leclerc, Galec Sp. z o.o.
An experienced manager specializing in managing trade policies and developing business proposals that achieve company goals. A national and international negotiator. A change leader, team leader with communication and stakeholder management skills.
In marketing, she supports the implementation of tools that enable faster and more effective customer engagement. What inspires her most in team management is the ability to provide people with development opportunities and to utilize their individual talents.
Privately, she is a happy mother, passionate about floristry, travel, and a lover of crime novels.

Tomasz Kwieciński – Senior Marketing Manager at DEICHMANN
A marketing communication expert with over 13 years of industry experience. Tomasz gained professional experience on both the agency side (Me & My Friends) by implementing campaigns for brands like Lubella, Kubuś, Tymbark, Desperados Red (Grupa Żywiec), and Ronson Development, and on the client side as Communication Manager at Pizza Hut for AmRest.
Since 2016, he has been associated with DEICHMANN, where he has participated in the execution of all image campaigns dedicated to the Polish market, collaborating with Margaret, Julia Wieniawa, Sylwia Grzeszczak, and Klaudia Halejcio.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the Wrocław University of Economics, majoring in International Economic Relations, and of Journalism and Social Communication at the University of Wrocław. He is also a lecturer at the DSW University of Lower Silesia.

Agnieszka Zagozda, Creative Director, Ster Event
For 20 years, Agnieszka has been managing events, from small gatherings to large-scale events with thousands of attendees. Her event creations intrigue and inspire generations. For her, nothing is impossible.
She holds a degree in archaeology. Out of passion, she is a stylist and an incurable optimist. Her day starts with a strong black coffee. Her work is her hobby, and given her highly relational and communicative nature, her career choice turned out to be spot-on.
In her work, she is guided by the motto: There is no such thing as a bad idea, there is always a better idea.

Krystian Król – Brand Strategy, Event Marketing, Neuromarketing, Graphic/DTP
For over 13 years, Krystian has been helping companies achieve business goals through effective marketing activities. He specializes in creating and implementing brand strategies, both in B2B and B2C markets. His experience includes launching numerous products in Polish and international markets, particularly in the FMCG and Retail sectors.
He is an expert in achieving business goals through events. Known to security guards for his long hours of observing consumer behavior in stores, he passionately engages in behavioral analysis, enabling him to accurately predict and influence customers' purchasing decisions.
Krystian combines his marketing knowledge with graphic skills, creating cohesive and effective projects.
For several years, he has been operating under the brand Krystian Król Brand & Event Expert and owns several brands that successfully operate in the event market. His versatility and approach to marketing make him a valued business partner.

The POS STARS area will be available during the International Advertising and Printing Fair, the Marketing Festival, on September 18-19 at EXPO XXI Warsaw, where you can personally view the entries submitted for the competition.
