CONFERENCES AND TRAINING | 09 September 2024
The final countdown to the 24th Public Relations Congress
The 24th Public Relations Professionals Congress is fast approaching, taking place on September 19-20 in Rzeszów. The event will focus heavily on crisis management, the effective use of AI tools, as well as the challenges associated with the development of new technologies.
As in previous years, experts will gather in Rzeszów to share their knowledge and experience. During the Congress, participants will have the opportunity to attend presentations and take part in panel discussions, which will provide deeper insights into how new technologies are transforming the face of communication. The event will also feature a concurrent scientific conference: "Digital Horizons: Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization in the Service of Public Relations and Marketing."
“Although artificial intelligence is increasingly making its way into the world of communication, it remains primarily a human domain. We, as people, still stand behind brands, create strategies, and give meaning to communication. AI can help us optimize our actions, but we are the ones who decide what values we want to convey and how we want to be perceived,” says Karolina Łuczak, Director of the Press Office and Internal Communication at Provident Polska S.A. "Regardless of how advanced the tools at our disposal become, the foundation of effective communication will always be good content, an understanding of the audience, and the ability to build relationships."
Public Relations Is Not Just About AI
The Congress doesn’t focus solely on AI-related topics but also covers other pressing issues, such as reputational crises, collaboration with influencers, and building credible personal brands.
“Looking at how our industry has evolved over the years, we see how much has changed. On the one hand, we have increasingly sophisticated tools and technologies that allow us to speed up and automate work. On the other hand, the primary challenge is still creating transparent and credible communication,” says Damian Ziąber, Spokesperson for the Insurance Guarantee Fund. “That’s why the ability to build relationships, manage crises, and create an authentic image remains key. In the future, we will need PR specialists who not only understand the latest technologies but also combine them with a deep understanding of human needs and emotions. Only such a combination will allow us to create communication that truly works."
The Congress was conceived by Prof. Dariusz Tworzydło, PhD, who has been organizing this event since 2001. This is the 24th gathering of public relations professionals, supported by: Rzeszów - the Capital of Innovation, Orange Polska, Velo Bank, Media Board, Ideo, IT Cluster, Information Society Development Institute, Ideo Force, Górnośląska Academy, PWN, AWMIG, Exacto.
