Marketing Inspirations – The 16th Edition of the Marketing Festival Fair is Behind Us

Over 3,000 visitors and 220 exhibitors, 2 days of marketing inspiration, the MARKETING MIX conference for Cities and Regions, three industry competitions, and the Exhibitors' Gala with the ceremonial awarding of POS STARS, the Gold Medal, and Anniversaries. We summarize the International Advertising and Printing Fair – the Marketing Festival.

On September 18-19, this year, at EXPO XXI Warsaw, suppliers of promotional items for the advertising and marketing industry, as well as media and machine suppliers, presented their offers.

"The hallmark of the Marketing Festival has always been the quality of the visitors. However, when over 300 or even more than 500 visitors were scanned at some booths over the two days, we can speak of an additional success. Feedback from exhibitors indicates that specific customers showed up. Our system is increasingly effective at filtering out non-industry attendees. We are also pleased with the number of premieres (including global ones) from media and machine suppliers and hundreds of inspirations prepared especially for the upcoming holiday season, the most important for the industry," said Robert Załupski of OOH magazine.

Industry Competitions

As every year, the fair was accompanied by industry competitions. The Super Gift contest saw 62 promotional gadgets submitted, and over 300 visitors participated in the voting. The contest highlighted promotional items presented at the fair, distinguished by their functionality and modern design. Visitors to the Marketing Festival could vote in the public prize competition for the best promotional gadget. The competition results can be viewed HERE.

Another highlight was the POS STARS competition for the best advertising displays. POS STARS attracted the attention of marketing and advertising professionals, showcasing innovative designs. Its goal was to recognize the best sales support materials. This year's edition featured many creative and unique projects. The jury, composed of industry experts, subjectively evaluated the submitted works. As they handed in their votes, they considered not only aesthetics and innovation but also functionality and impact on shopping experiences. More than 350 visitors voted for the PUBLIC PRIZE. As in previous years, exhibitors submitted innovative products, machines, and software for the Gold Medal competition. The selection of a particular innovation was based on factors such as the modernity of the solutions compared to global trends, innovative technologies or solutions, specific economic advantages in terms of purchase and operation (price, operating and service costs, disposal costs), the positive environmental impact of the product, high functionality, and its aesthetics. The awards were presented during the evening Gala. The results are available HERE.

MARKETING MIX Conference for Cities and Regions

The MARKETING MIX conference format returned during the International Advertising and Printing Fair. This year's edition was dedicated to representatives of marketing departments of cities and regions. The conference provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, knowledge, and best practices in promoting local communities. The event gathered nearly 50 specialists from different parts of Poland. More about the conference can be read HERE.

Exhibitors' Evening

As every year, exhibitors gathered for a formal evening gala. During the official part of the event, awards were presented for the POS STARS competition and the Gold Medals. The fair and Gala also honored companies celebrating their anniversaries this year: Lanyard.PRO / Allers Group, Kraków Balloon Team, Stricker, Cukiernia Reklamowa, Likor, Dreamtex, Promonotes, MALFINI, E-SklepzPrezentami.pl, TOP MARKETING, Caraffa, Sebzuz - Top Magnets, Rodan, Purple Mustard Europe, PSSiDC, Alubest, Imago Printer, Amagraf. Extensive Event Promotion

The September Marketing Festival was promoted through ads on 20 MZA Warsaw buses. The joint exhibitors' campaign promoted promotional gadgets as an effective advertising tool and encouraged visits to the fair.
